Anthony Holmes is an accomplished advisor, author, and speaker with a distinguished career spanning strategic consulting, investment banking, and corporate restructuring. With decades of experience leading transformations across sectors such as telecoms, energy, FMCG, civil engineering, and consumer goods, he has acted primarily on behalf of shareholders as chairman or CEO, driving value through turnaround and change management.

In recent years, Anthony has become a leading voice in the global infrastructure space, particularly in the appraisal and development of large, complex projects in the Gulf States. He currently serves as Director of the Institute for Infrastructure Studies, a think tank focused on the economics and design of transformative infrastructure investments.

His leadership roles include CEO positions at TXU UK Energy and Global Crossing UK, and senior advisory roles with Vodafone and Ordnance Survey. He is also the author of Managing Through Turbulent Times (Harriman House), where he shares insights on navigating crisis, complexity, and change.

Anthony holds an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from the University of Sheffield. His intellectual interests span philosophy, physics, jazz, and modern art.
